Beaches

Southampton Village has approximately seven miles of extraordinary oceanfront with eleven individual beaches.  For information about obtaining beach permits, go to Departments then to Village Clerk.  All beaches, except for Coopers Beach,
are unregulated and lack lifeguard supervision.

  • Coopers Beach - 268 Meadow Lane (main beach with concession stand, chair rentals for $10 and umbrella rentals for $15 each per day, bathrooms, and fresh water showers). Daily parking permit $50 per car per day.

  • Elias Pelletreau Silversmith Shop - Built in 1686
  • Historical Museum - Opened in 1951
  • Monument Square - Erected in 1897 in memory of the soldiers and sailors of Southampton who served their country
  • Parrish Art Museum - Opened in 1898
  • Thomas Halsey Homestead - Built in 1648 is the oldest English frame house in the state
