NEW EMERGENCY ORDER ISSUED: 5-2020 / Coronavirus
Mayor Jesse Warren has issued Local Emergency Order (Coronavirus) 5-2020 which includes the following points:
- That all conditions and directives contained in Local Emergency Orders 1-2020, 2-2020, 3-2020 and 4a - 2020 are renewed, continued and extended in full force and effect.
- That all conditions and directives contained in Local Emergency Orders 1-2020, 2-2020, 3-2020 and 4 (A)-2020 are renewed, continued and extended in full force and effect
- Please be aware that pursuant to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order No. 202.17, effective at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020 any individual who is over age two and able to medically tolerate a face-covering shall be required to cover their nose and mouth with a mask or cloth face-covering when in public place and unable to maintain, or when not maintaining, social distance.
Except as stated above, this Order shall be effective IMMEDIATELY and shall remain in effect until removed by further order of the Mayor.
Failure to obey this order is a criminal offense, punishable by law under New York State Executive Law §24(5).
