[ARCHIVED] Southampton Village Youth Task Force Helps Coordinate Programs for Families

The Southampton Village Youth Task Force and its ambassadors will be offering programs throughout the Village geared for kids and their families throughout the Summer.

Wheels and Reels -  Wednesday, July 15 @ 7:00PM $30/per car
Join in the fun with drive-in movie nights at Downs Family Park Park.

Our Love and Peace Rock Garden is ready!
Bring a rock, take a rock and paint a rock - share your thoughts, and let your creativity shine through.

Student Ambassadors Run Programs
The following programs are for all ages. Please bring a towel, beach blanket or yoga mat.

Monday Mindfulness - 11:00AM
Relaxation and breathing to release stress with trained instructor Meg Bishop

Wednesday QiGong 
Will help you with energy and health with trained instructor Andy Spreitzer

The following programs are for children of all ages - parents should stay on the grounds of the Museum.

Tuesday Beach Blanket Story Time - 11:00AM
Fun summer stories will be read to young children by our Student Ambassadors Emma Cervone, Stella Lima, Sam Brenner, Shea Rodriguez and Jasmine Head.

Thursday Art on the Lawn - 11:00AM
Fun and creative art led by our student Ambassadors Katelyn Morris, Patricia Coo,Shea Rodriguez and Emma Cervone.

Friday Music and Mime @ 2:00PM
For young children interested in dramatic expression led by our Student Ambassadors Johan Arias, Evan Simmioni and Andy Panza.

Our Peace and Love Art Wall 
Join Art Teacher Pam Collins and Student Ambassadors Ricky Sobrevinas and Sam Brenner as we create a beautiful art wall in Doscher Park - adjacent to Agawam Park.

Chalk Art 
Have fun with the kids and create with chalk art at the Southampton Elementary School side parking lot on Pine Street.
